Earlier today, Xbox announced its global partnership with adidas in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Xbox.

The debut collaboration for the new partnership sees an exclusive new Xbox x adidas Forum Tech, complete with translucent green details inspired by the special edition release of the original Xbox console for the launch of Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001. It balances nostalgia while embracing modern technology — a mantra symbolic for both the Three Stripes and Xbox — celebrating the last 20 years and looking ahead to the limitless future of gaming.

Xbox has stated that this pair will be only the beginning, with the two parties expected to launch several new sneakers inspired by past and present Xbox console generations — including the first-ever sneaker available for purchase by our fans later this year.
