The Air Jordan 12 "French Blue" Releases August 16

As part of Jordan Brand’s 40th Anniversary celebration, the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” is making a long-awaited return. Officially slated to release on August 16, 2025, the beloved retro will be available in full family sizing, with men’s pairs priced at $210.

First introduced in 2004 and last seen in 2016, the “French Blue” colorway has become one of the most recognizable non-OG Air Jordan 12s. Originally designed during Michael Jordan’s time with the Washington Wizards, the pair’s clean white leather upper, textured navy overlays, and subtle red and silver accents are often mistaken for an original release due to their classic appeal.

This year’s retro is expected to stay true to the original specs, preserving the familiar color blocking and detailing from past editions. Its return not only taps into early-2000s nostalgia but also strengthens a stacked release calendar that’s helping define one of Jordan Brand’s most loaded years in recent memory.
