The Air Jordan 12 is amid its 30th anniversary. Although the celebration hasn't been as massive as other milestone events seen by the NIKE, Inc. Family, it seems the silhouette will extend its festivities well into 2027, landing in new makeovers like a "Soft Blue" colorway expected next April.
The news arrives by way of X user @zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, sources that've also shared that Jordan Brand will release "Metallic Silver" Air Jordan 17 Low and "Jackie Robinson" Air Jordan 4 retros in the first-half of 2027.
As of writing, only speculative mock-ups of the "Soft Blue" AJ12 are available. These images depict Tinker Hatfield's 10th signature sneaker design for Michael Jordan as featuring a powder blue tone across the sole unit and faux iguana skin that wraps around the front-half of the shoe. The remainder of the upper primarily indulges in a pitch-dark execution that allows both the "Soft Blue" components and orange-colored accents on the tongue and mid-foot to pop that much more.
A backstory to the pair has not been disclosed yet, but that could change at the top of next year.
