It's still too early to tell whether or not the Air Jordan 17 Low will become as ubiquitous as some of Michael Jordan's earliest signature models, but the highly-technical pair continues to form part of upcoming release schedules. Come April 2027, the design from 2002 is expected to launch in a "Metallic Silver" colorway.

The news has been reported by X user @zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, and adds to the ongoing list of Air Jordan retros that've already been confirmed for 2027. According to the initial report, the low-top AJ17 features a "Metallic Silver/Black/Coconut Milk" color scheme that sees most of the upper covered in a shimmering finish.

An early speculative mock-up of the shoe showcases an opaque "Coconut Milk" touch, which adds an "aged" aesthetic to the marquee Air Jordan model from over 20 years ago. Laces, collars, and the internal bootie should opt for a pitch-dark tone that allows the surrounding "Metallic Silver" accents to pop even more.

Stay tuned for official product shots and Nike.com/Jordan release details. The retro Air Jordan 17 Low is currently expected April 12, 2027 for $245.
