Air Jordan 4 “Jackie Robinson” Releases on Jackie Robinson Day 2027

Jordan Brand is preparing a special Air Jordan 4 “Jackie Robinson” for 2027, with the release scheduled to land on April 15 — Jackie Robinson Day.

The pair is part of a wider tribute to the baseball icon and marks a retail project with the Jackie Robinson estate. While Jordan Brand has produced Jackie Robinson-themed player exclusives in the past, this upcoming release will bring the story to consumers through one of the brand’s most popular silhouettes.

Dressed in an official Sail/Multi-Color/Multi-Color/Multi-Color scheme, the design draws from the colors of Robinson’s Brooklyn Dodgers era. Sail covers much of the upper, while blue accents appear across the eyelets, midsole and branding. Cement-style detailing lands on the wings and portions of the midsole, with red adding another hit of color through the Jumpman branding.

The Jackie Robinson references go beyond the palette. The heels are expected to feature Nike Air branding alongside Robinson’s No. 42, while “Robinson” appears behind the tongue. The release is also expected to be accompanied by an Air Jordan 4 MCS cleat honoring Robinson as part of Jordan Brand’s 2027 plans.
