AMIRI and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO have unveiled the second chapter of their limited-edition sneaker collaboration, introducing a new blue-and-white colorway that builds on the foundation established by their initial release.
Once again, the collaboration is anchored by two signature silhouettes: AMIRI’s Skel Top-Low and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO’s Peterson OG. The design merges defining elements from both houses, pairing AMIRI’s Nappa leather “Bones” appliqué with Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO’s distinctive clay-molded sole, set against a durable canvas upper. Co-branded woven and embroidered labels on the tongue and heel highlight the intentional balance between the two brands’ identities.
The accompanying campaign stars Japanese rapper Jin Dogg and continues the narrative introduced in the first chapter. Shot through a cinematic lens inspired by Takeshi Kitano’s 2000 Japanese-American film Brother, the visuals depict countercultural figures moving through city streets that blur the lines between Los Angeles and Tokyo. The imagery positions the sneaker within a broader story of shared identity, community, and creative exchange, styled with AMIRI tailoring and the latest collaborative footwear.
Staying true to the spirit of the original release, the second edition maintains a focus on monochromatic color blocking, bold structure, refined materials, and artisanal construction, while embracing a DIY-inspired aesthetic central to both brands’ design philosophies.
Released in limited quantities, the AMIRI x Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO sneaker is available in the new blue-and-white colorway, alongside the original black-and-white version. The collaboration is offered exclusively at select AMIRI and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO stores, as well as through select wholesalers including Nordstrom, Vitkac, Jet, and Harrods.
