The ASICS GEL-KAYANO™ 14 Appears in Refreshing Retro Sprite Colors
Despite having debuted in 2008, the ASICS GEL-KAYANO™ 14 is amongst the brand's more popular lifestyle offerings. Ahead of summer, the retro runner has emerged in a color palette reminiscent of Sprite's old soda cans.
While not an official collaboration with the beverage company, the newly-surfaced pair adds yet another tally to the long list of sneakers that evoke imagery of the thirst-quenching drink. As with so many ASICS SportStyle footwear products from throughout the 2000s, the latest GEL-KAYANO™ 14 features a healthy amount of silver elements across its performance-oriented design. Vector logos across the profiles indulge in a two-tone presentation that heavily favors a neon green hue. Inner lining and stability shanks underfoot also take on the lime-reminiscent color.
Visible ASICS GEL™ technology at the midsole indulges in a rich shade of blue, which also appears throughout the sneaker's top-half. Off-white-colored foam injects a faux-aged touch into the project.

Away from the Japanese sportswear giant, the Nike Air Max family continues to grow.
