The ASICS Gel Lyte III is arguably the brand’s best contribution to footwear in its 43-year history. And in 2020, the 30th anniversary of the silhouette, we’ve been treated to some of it’s best renditions in recent times from the runner-turned-streetwear staple, including Ronnie Fieg’s recent three-piece of Japanese-influenced releases. Even the brand’s mainline releases have been on-point, like this two-piece ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Denim Pack” that’s just dropped.
Though it won’t draw the same level of hype as the aforementioned Fieg’s “Selvedge Denim” drop from 2012, they will still move very quickly off shelves. Arriving in black and navy options, the pairs feature an identical build and blocking, including completely tonal uppers in denim and leather, matching midsoles, and sail rubber outsoles. It’s the overlays that oft for the cowhide construction, while the base layers peer out in a semi-distressed finish. Completing the designs is a set of jean patch-inspired branding stages — complete with a Levi’s red embossed finish — at the tongue, lateral heel, and rear panel.
Grab an official look at the two options here below, and you can now find both pairs available now, right here from ASICS.com for $120 a pop.
