ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Triple Black” is Available Now!
The ASICS Gel Lyte III is arguably the brand’s best contribution to the culture in its 43-year history. And in 2020, the 30th anniversary of the silhouette, we’ve been treated to some of it’s best renditions in recent times, from OGs to Ronnie Fieg’s recent three-piece of Japanese-influenced releases. Now, with Fall right around the corner, the brand looks to deliver a toned-down approach to their time-tested sneaker, with a classic “Triple Black” take hitting stores today.
Following on from the recently-released “Piedmont Grey” and “Cream” pairs, this “Triple Black” offering arrives from toe-to-tail in subtly deviating shades of black, with contrast left only for the pair’s countless overlays, perforations and stitching nicks. The deviance in materials, too, provides some visual breaks, with plastics in the eyelets, along with the rubber sole units and waxed laces providing some subtle shade variance from the all-suede uppers.
Take a closer look at the ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Triple Black” here below, and you can find pairs available right now directly from ASICS.com for $110.
In other classic trainer news, Ronnie Fieg has teased a look at an upcoming two-piece “Mauve Sole” New Balance 1300 pack.
