The Bodega x ASICS GEL-Kayano 20 "Small Wins Add Up" Releases September 12

Boston’s Bodega is no stranger to the runner’s scene, boasting an impressive history of collaborations with brands like Saucony, HOKA, New Balance, and Reebok. ASICS has also been a regular partner in this collaborative space, most recently with the GEL-NYC “After Hours” that dropped last September. Now, Bodega and ASICS are back at it, unveiling their latest joint venture: the ASICS GEL-Kayano 20 “Small Wins Add Up.”

Inspired by “cherishing the little victories in life,” this release emphasizes everyday wearability while staying true to its performance roots. The GEL-Kayano 20 features full-length GEL cushioning and comfort-focused materials, hallmarks of ASICS’ commitment to quality. Bodega adds its own twist with mesh netting on the tongue and medial side, enhancing the shoe's look and feel.

Visually, the shoe strikes a balance between vibrant and neutral tones. The upper is predominantly white and beige, with bright accents of vivid yellow, neon green, and pine, adding a lively contrast. This colorway echoes the aesthetic cues seen in Bodega’s “Jaunt Woven” Saucony collaboration from earlier this year, hinting at a cohesive theme that may continue throughout 2024.

The Bodega ASICS GEL-Kayano 20 “Small Wins Add Up” is set to release on September 12th, retailing for $180, both in-store and online.
