COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT's "White" ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Arrives Fall 2025
Rei Kawakubo's COMME des GARÇONS empire unveiled a number of sneaker collaborations during the recent Paris Fashion Week. One such impending project was an ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 dressed in a tonal 'White' color scheme.
Developed under the brand's SHIRT banner, the collaboration surfaces shortly after Kawakubo and company prepped three monochromatic makeovers of the GEL-Nunobikis. By contrast, the upcoming GEL-Kayano 14 keeps things all the way clean, indulging in a pure 'White' finish across performance-oriented details. Vector logos across the profiles take on a semi-glossy touch that injects some personality into the sneaker. ASICS' GEL technology underfoot also slightly deviates from the tonal execution.
COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT's Kayano 14 is nearly-identical to a GEL-Terrain it released last year. The fashion imprint's upcoming launch also keeps co-branding to a minimum, with the only visible link to Kawakubo's label arriving on the insole (at least on the first-look provided by Instagram user @yvkiabe).
Firm release details for the special ASICS sneaker haven't been disclosed by either party involved as of yet, but the pair is likely to release after August. As with other footwear linkups by COMME des GARÇONS, the GEL-Kayano 14 is expected to arrive with a price tag upwards of $300.
