Kiko Kostadinov's ASICS UB9-S Gel-Kayano 20 Collection Releases October 24

Kiko Kostadinov continues to redefine the boundaries between fashion and performance with his latest venture into the ASICS lineup, revamping the ASICS GEL-Kayano 20. Originally launched in 2013, this model is celebrated for its full-length GEL cushioning that promises optimal comfort and performance. Now, the visionary designer is giving it a fresh update.

Kostadinov’s influence is evident in the addition of asymmetrical pull-tabs on the tongue, a feature that enhances functionality and injects a distinct aesthetic flair. The colorways for these upcoming releases are anything but conventional for ASICS, showcasing Kostadinov’s push for unique and eye-catching designs.

The two iterations set to release include a "Crystal Pink" that subtly nods to the look of the crispy "Bacon" colorway and a "Vibrant Yellow" that conjures images of chocolate-dipped bananas. Both pairs are encased in a sporty, porous mesh layer beneath the striking overlays, perfectly balancing high-performance needs with high-fashion sensibilities.

Scheduled for release on October 24th, these models continue to blur the lines between the running track and the runway, highlighting Kostadinov’s unique ability to innovate within established ASICS frameworks.
