Ronnie Fieg Reveals New Kith x ASICS Collection for Winter 2024

Kith is set to round out its year with a bang, introducing two new collaborations with ASICS that underscore the brand’s evolving partnership. Ronnie Fieg, the mastermind behind Kith, has taken to social media to unveil these anticipated releases, ensuring that Kith stays at the forefront of the sneaker conversation.

The first of the duo is the ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1, presented in a striking "Crystal Green." This model features a sporty white mesh base, complemented by translucent jade green technical overlays. This lush green not only covers the upper but also bleeds into the midsole, paired with a clean white that transitions to a classic black on the lower half, blending performance with street-ready aesthetics.

A new iteration of the GEL-Nimbus 10.1 joins the lineup. For this model, Fieg has opted for a more subdued color palette, utilizing various shades of grey throughout the midsole and select upper areas. This is contrasted with a khaki tan that adorns the ASICS logo. This choice maintains Kith’s signature, blending neutral tones with sophisticated design elements.

With this release, Kith is signaling a significant shift in its brand alliances, moving from its long-standing relationship with Nike towards deeper engagements with brands like New Balance and ASICS. This strategic pivot is echoed by rumors that The Whitaker Group might also be reconsidering their affiliations, hinting at a broader trend within the industry.
