April arrived with a full head of steam for bespoke sneaker builders with 4/20 firmly in sight. Sure, we had some killer efforts for the unofficial holiday — including some Skunk SB Dunk Lows and "Pink Panther" Air Max 1s — but it was the options from left-field that garnered the most attention.
Big Red Boots were turned into Big Timberlands, Union Air Jordan 4s were infused into an Air Max 1, and two surprising Dunk Lows — "What The Mario" and a pair made for Dunkin' — stole the show.
Dark Phil Knight had two incredibly knitted Air Jordan remakes, Vibram sole swaps to some Three Stripe gems, and an imagined collaboration between OFF-WHITE, Nike, and Louis Vuitton was also notable.
