This Week’s Sneaker Releases Are Loaded, With a Huge July 1 Drop Day Leading the Way

The first week of July is shaping up to be one of the busiest sneaker weeks of the summer, with a loaded run of basketball, football, lifestyle, and collaborative releases arriving across Nike, Jordan Brand, adidas, and more.

While this is not the full list of everything dropping, the week is led by a massive July 1 release slate that includes the Nike KD 19 “Bubble Gum Bounce,” Cade Cunningham’s Nike ST Charge “Detroit Tough,” the SP5DER x adidas F50 Formotion, and the nostalgic Care Bears x adidas collection. From there, the week keeps moving with football-inspired hybrids, new Jordan sneakers, lovely kids’ releases, and Ja Morant’s tiger-striped Nike Ja 3.

July 1

For Nike Basketball, July 1 brings one of the loudest KD 19 colorways yet. The Nike KD 19 “Bubble Gum Bounce” arrives in a full Hyper Pink build, bringing a glossy, court-ready look to Kevin Durant’s latest signature model. The pair is expected to release via SNKRS and select retailers for $155.

Cade Cunningham also gets another major retail moment on July 1 with the Nike ST Charge “Detroit Tough” in a Bright Ceramic, Laser Orange, Bright Crimson, and Metallic Gold colorway. The release continues Nike’s build around the Detroit Pistons star, with the pair expected to retail for $140.

adidas has its own headline moment the same day, with the SP5DER x adidas F50 Formotion receiving its wider global launch on July 1 after an early release through KINGSP5DER.com on June 26. The new silhouette reworks football DNA through a lifestyle runner lens, pairing a metallic silver build with pink accents and SP5DER branding throughout.

July 1 also brings a softer, nostalgia-heavy release through the Care Bears x adidas Pack. The collection includes multiple pastel-driven pairs across adidas lifestyle silhouettes, leaning into plush textures, character details, and a more playful summer feel.

July 2

The week then turns to July 2, where Jordan Brand is set to debut the Jordan Triangle, while Nike continues its football-heavy World Cup push with the Nike Air Max Joga Bonito “R9.” Inspired by Ronaldo Nazário’s iconic Mercurial R9 boot from the 1998 World Cup, the pair combines classic football heritage with an Air Max 95-inspired lifestyle sole setup. The release is expected on July 2 for $180.

Also listed for July 2 are the Nike LeBron 23 “Shoe Bag” and the kids’ Air Jordan 4 Retro “She’s A Star,” giving the day a mix of performance basketball, lifestyle-driven storytelling, and youth-focused color.

July 3

The week wraps with another major Nike Basketball release on July 3, as the Nike Ja 3 “Animal Pack” in its “Tiger” colorway arrives. Dressed in Safety Orange, Black, and University Red, the pair leans heavily into striped animal print detailing across the upper, continuing Ja Morant’s run of expressive, themed signature releases. The Nike Ja 3 “Tiger” is expected to release for $130.

Before the July 1 rush, adidas also has one of the week’s more unusual drops with the Brain Dead x Disney x adidas Predator 94 Dress Shoe, listed for June 29.

With performance hoops, football hybrids, character collaborations, and retro-inspired lifestyle pairs all landing within a few days of each other, the start of July is anything but quiet. July 1 in particular looks like the week’s main event, with several high-profile drops competing for attention at once.
