CJ McCollum was deeply-offended that Milwaukee assigned a rookie to defend him Tuesday night. And he has every right to go out and toast him for 40 points, 6 dimes, 5 boards and 4 steals, helping the Blazers to a 118-103 W.
But we kind of feel for poor Donte DiVincenzo, especially when CJ Mac dropped him to the floor with a nasty pull-back crossover. McCollum says the visiting Bucks should have put Pat Connaughton on him instead — and whilst we agree, the young kid’s gotta learn some day.
And what better way to learn than to be torched.
