The “Obsidian” colorway is back. Even if it’s only in our minds.
We’ve been back in the concept lab in a big way lately, and we’ve recently fallen in love with this “split” color blocking on the Air Jordan 4 – something that’s never really been done before, with the half exception of the “Fear” 4
And we’re not sure why, because splitting the upper and lower into vastly contrasting segments really makes the Air Jordan 4 pop in a way thats fresh and new – not that the Jordan 4 needs a new injection of life. After all, it is one of the most popular silhouettes of the Jordan back catalogue.
But one colorway that does need some new life is the “Obsidian” colorway, traditionally made up of Navy and White. The last time we saw this on a retro – I cant recall – but its one of the best to hit Jordans. period.
So, what do you think of today’s concept? both the “Split” color blocking and trhe “obsidian” colorway? Tell us in the comments section below!
