Where to Buy the Chinatown Market x Converse “Jacket Pack”

After mere moments apart, Chinatown Market and Conversewill reunite for a special-edition collection just in time for the NBA All-Star Weekend, though it would seemingly be more fitting for a release around the Finals.

Bearing the design language of the sport’s iconic Jeff Hamilton jackets, Chinatown Market dresses both the Pro Leather and Chuck 70 in two ways each, celebrating two of the NBA’s most recent dynasties; the Chicago Bulls and the LA Lakers. The latter franchise arguably leads the pack in both popularity and in color, with the Erving-approved flagship dealing a colorway heavily influenced by the famous Championship three-peat jacket. For the Pro Leather, palm trees hit the heel in leafy greens, Lakers insignia dress the forefoot, collar, and the like, while “Chinatown Market” brands the natural leather heel tab. Elsewhere, tones of purple, aqua blue, and gold outfit underneath, complementing the Chuck 70 adjacent, whose side profile shrouds the LA cityscape in shadows.

The Bulls’ take on the Pro Leather is far more subdued as their classic red sees a more burgundy-like coloration. It too features a city skyline that compliments the black toes at the forefoot. It’s then clad in a series of decorative patches to mimic the famed jackets. The Chuck 70 follows a similar theme, though it focuses more on the championship years found cascading down the sleeves of the jacket.
