Nike’s focus on sustainability has been well documented — as recently as this past week, with the brand presenting their “Move to Zero” key objectives for the next five-to-ten years. Similarly to rivaling adidas, one of their key deliverables is the use of recyclable materials. Flyleather is currently the big player for the Swoosh, but their subsidiary in Converse has recently put a focus on a recyclable program they’ve called “Renew” Last month we saw the iconic brand launch a Chuck 70 High and Low in the recycled fabrics; a follow up to the canvas pairs that released the month prior. Now, Denim returns in both High and Low versions of the Chuck 70 in split-blocking. Both pairs sport a dark navy on the lateral sies, with a more traditional denim blue on the medial, and an even lighter blue up the middle. The Highs come stamped with white branding hits on the medial ankle, and both pairs come complete with classic off-white sole units and black heel badges.
A release date for the pack has been set for October 3rd, with pairs set to roll out at select Converse stockists and directly on Converse.com.
