Sanrio's My Melody Celebrates 50th Anniversary with A Crocs Classic Clog

The wonderful world of Sanrio has been bringing joy to folks of all ages for decades. The Japanese company's catalog of characters spans over 400, meaning there's something for everyone. Characters like Hello Kitty and My Melody have exploded in popularity over the years, with the latter set to celebrate her 50th anniversary with a Crocs Classic Clog collaboration.

As with other commemorative slip-ons by the Colorado-based institution, the impending project by Sanrio features an all-over print across the bio-circular Croslite™ upper. My Melody is showcased in different positions atop a pink backdrop, with some scenes including Risu and Flat, the white rabbit's squirrel and mouse friends. Jibbitz™ charms in the form of the 50-year-old character, hearts, and cherry blossom join the mix, adding another playful touch to the Classic Clog.

Elsewhere, My Melody text appears on the heel strap, while the slip-resistant outsole enjoys a tonal, light pink finish.
