Ross Adrian Yip co-founded KICKS CREW with a simple mission: "to make sneakers more accessible to all consumers." Over the last four years, he and his team have stayed on course, welcoming some of sports' biggest names to help in the endeavor. Dwyane Wade and D'Angelo Russell are the latest stars to hop on board.
Last month, Wade unveiled Russell's debut signature sneaker—the DLO1—on "TimeOut," presenting the first athletic-specific model under the Way of Wade umbrella. Although the announcement excited longtime fans of the current Brooklyn Nets guard, accessibility to the NBA's latest signature basketball shoe hadn't been sorted out. By joining KICKS CREW as investors, Wade and Russell ensure their and other sneakers, apparel, and collectibles are readily available in over 100 countries.
"KICKS CREW is redefining what it means to empower athletes," shared Dwyane Wade in a press release about the partnership. "This isn’t just about selling sneakers—it’s about ownership, control, and building something that lasts. With KICKS CREW,
the Way of Wade brand can grow on a global scale while staying true to our vision. They give us the resources, platform, and freedom to create and distribute our products our way. That's the
future, and I'm proud to be part of it."

To kick off their partnership, Wade and Russell have worked with KICKS CREW to present an immersive Way of Wade booth experience at Fanatics Fest NYC. The event takes place from Friday, June 20, to Sunday, June 22, at the Jacob Javits Center.
You can shop tickets to Fanatics Fest NYC here.
The Way of Wade x KICKS CREW experience offers fans a chance to meet both Dwyane Wade and D’Angelo Russell. Exclusive first-access to the DLO "Royal Blue Skies" (limited to just 300 pairs worldwide); a chance to win autographed memorabilia giveaways; and interactive, story-driven content will also be offered.
"With Dwyane and D’Angelo, we’re not just launching signature products—we’re building a future where athletes lead with direct ownership in their own platform," said Ross Adrian Yip. "Their belief in what we’re creating is a huge step forward as we integrate
content, storytelling, and product into a unified global platform."
