The ESENES x RPD Tabi Releases On September 20

Building on the buzz from the initial release earlier this year, ESENES is back with a limited edition blacked-out version of the RicePaddyTabi.

This bold take on the traditional tabi boot stands out with premium nubuck leather, a padded collar for added comfort, and a durable black rubber outsole. The 'SNS World Peace' logo, subtly embossed on the outer heel, adds a meaningful touch to the design.

The RicePaddyTabi was first introduced by designer Jonathan Sung Jin Lee, known as RicePaddyDaddyy, back in 2018 during his time at Parsons School of Design. By blending the distinctive tabi toe with a work boot silhouette, Lee’s design challenges cultural perceptions and explores deeper themes, while giving a nod to New York City's iconic work boot and Japan's tabi shoe tradition.

Releasing in adult sizing, the ESENES x RPD Tabi "Blacked Out" will be available on Friday, September 20th at 3PM ET for $250 on ESENES.
