The Best Custom Sneakers From February 2023
Considering the mid-month Valentine’s Day celebration, February was full of love for custom sneakers — fitting.
Though most chose to look at other themes, those that chose to honor V-Day did an incredible job, from hand-knitted forced to double-Swooshed Dunks. We also saw a “What That Mario” Dunk Low and special-edition customs from The Shoe Surgeon to LeBron James for his record-breaking feat.
Not normally featured in the custom scene, there were a handful of Air Jordan 3s — including a “Batman” pair we commissioned last year —, a “Tiffany” take on the Travis Scott Jordan 1 Low, and a handful of Air Max 1s in anticipation of Air Max Month in March.
