Guess he’s gotta do something with his time off, right?
Poor old Gordo is out of the game again, currently managing some back soreness. He wants to make sure that he’s right for opening night, so he’s not taking a risk with any more preseason minutes.
So, we guess he’s got a bit of spare time on his hands — something he’s become accustomed to.
And it looks like during his time off, he’s been brushing up on his Fortnite skills.
As a part of the Shamrock Foundation’s attempt to raise money for the Boston community, instead of auctioning off a signed jersey or ball, Hayward offered a chance to play him in Fortnite. The Celtics star ended up finding two opponents, each willing to pay $25,000.
Gordon Hayward auctions off a chance to play him in Fortnite (possibly on Garden JumboTron). Fetches two $25,000 bids for Shamrock Foundation.

That’s a whole lot of money for a whole lot of . . . nothing.
But kudos to the Celtic and Hayward, that’s an exceptional donation for the cause!
Let’s just hope he brings his A-game, because Fortnite players don’t mess around.
