Klay Thompson Destroys Cavaliers for Petty Halloween Party in 2016

    LOL.

Remember when the Cavaliers came back from down 3-1 to win the NBA Finals against the Warriors in 2016, and then proceeded to mock the Warriors for being the first team to ever blow a 3-1 lead in the Finals? Klay Thompson remembers.

The Cavs went as far as to include a prop at a Halloween party which read “3-1 Lead.” Things have since changed however, as the Warriors have won the past two NBA Finals, beating the Cavaliers in eight of nine games played. Thompson remembers that as well, and took a shot at the Cavaliers, calling them petty ahead of their first meeting since the Warriors took home their third ring in four years.

Thompson didn’t hold back when discussing the Cavaliers Halloween party, citing the team’s “pettiness” and calling them “idiots.”

It’s clear that the Warriors are getting the last laugh when you consider the Cavaliers look like a lottery team for years to come and LeBron James left town to join the Lakers.

The Cavaliers are 1-8 in Finals game since the 3-1 comeback. And now, without LeBron, they may never beat the Warriors again.

But still — y’all blew a 3-1 lead as the best team in history. Nothing you can say will ever redeem that.
