Josep "Pep" Guardiola's Manchester City had a disappointing showing at the expanded FIFA Club World Cup, but the club has something to celebrate before heading into the new season: A record-breaking extension with PUMA.
The duo recently announced that their club-kit manufacturer relationship, which began in 2019, will extend into 2035. This decision has overtaken Manchester United's current deal with Adidas as the most lucrative kit manufacturer agreement in English football, boasting a value of $1.3 billion over 10 years. The new figure is up from its predecessor's $87 million per year.
"We joined forces with PUMA with the ambition to challenge ourselves and go beyond the expectations," shared Ferran Soriano, Chief Executive Officer of City Football Group (CFG). "We have achieved this and more over the last six seasons."
There's no telling how the club will perform during the 2025-26 EPL campaign, but one thing's certain: it's set to represent PUMA on the biggest stages.
