This Ridiculous Stat Shows that Karl Anthony Towns is Softer than Butter

    Harden up, KAT.

Karl-Anthony Towns needs to man up. Plain and simple.

If anything was evident following the matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs, it’s that.

Towns’ squad lost on the road to the Spurs by four points, and his performance was awfully pathetic. KAT played for 22 minutes and had eight points and nine rebounds in the opener on Wednesday night, but one stat is pretty sad when you take a look at it.

Just so we’re crystal clear on this, Bryn Forbes, Who was like 8th on the PG depth chart for San Antonio and had to start tonight, had 10 shots, compared to six for Karl-Anthony Towns.

So Towns was outplayed by a reserve point guard Wednesday. And outshot. Outscored, as well. Bryn Forbes (who?!) had 11 points on 10 shots while KAT scored eight on six. And the question here is: how in the hell does Karl Anthony Towns allow himself to be outshot by a guy named Forbes?

KAT stands at 7-0, 247 pounds. While his opposing center also stood at the same monstrous height, we’re guessing that Towns could win a matchup against Jakob Poeltl if he really wanted to. We’re talking about a star here in Towns, with all the skill and physical gifts a man could ask for. So where is it?

The center needs to get his head in the game and use some of that tremendous force he has got to help his team out. A guy of his caliber mustering up just six shots is unacceptable, especially when you lose the game by just two buckets.

Let’s hope we see the real KAT stand up soon.
