The Air Jordan 1 Defiant “Tour Yellow” Drops on July 27th
Another day, Another Air Jordan 1.
This should come as no surprise.
There’s another new Air Jordan 1 scheduled for 2019, a pair dubbed “Dynamic Yellow” scheduled to land this Summer.
Dressed up in a combination of White, Black, University Red, and Dynamic Yellow, the pair takes on an OG Panda vibe, but comes with a few additions and subtractions. Red contrast stitching arrives throughout, including around the one-piece Wings icons. Tumbled leather tongues are ushered in, while three of the four Swooshes have been ripped out — literally — leaving behind exposed, frayed stitching on both lateral sides and the medial side of the right shoe. The sole Swoosh arrives on the left’s medial, adorning a vibrant “Dynamic Yellow” hue. I’ve got a feeling there’s a story to be told with these — perhaps around Mike’s dealings with the Atlanta Hawks based off the colors used.
While information surrounding the pair’s inspiration may be scarce, we do know when it will be released, with the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Dynamic Yellow” to arrive arriving on July 27th, 2019 at select Jumpman retailers and Nike.com for $160.
