Air Jordan 1 “To My First Coach” Collection Arrives May 7th in Europe

Fond memories are often found when thinking back to your first coach in sports. Be it football, baseball, basketball, or otherwise, the first person to teach you how to dribble, shoot, or play catch likely had a profound influence on you and your love of sports. For many of us, it was our parents. For others, it may have been your first pee-wee coach — in any instance, it’s a figurehead worth remembering. And that’s exactly what Jordan Brand will be doing on this special-edition Air Jordan 1 “To My First Coach” Collection for Summer 2021.

Featuring an Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT, and Air Jordan 1 Mid, and an Air Jordan 1 Low, the pack runs a glaringly obvious color theme of sail, orange, blue and yellow. All three pairs are expected the be anchored in the former with the vibrant he’s making up the various overlays throughout. All options are also expected to arrive with stark white Swooshes and special-edition hang tags.

After a first look at the pack’s Air Jordan 1 Mid via @wavegod_thelegend, a bunch of hi-res shots of the pair have now landed via @hanzuying. As it turns out, the original mock-ups were fairly accurate in color blocking, though the first looks do show the material in fine detail. Glossy finishes are applied to the forefoot eyestays and Swoosh, while heavily tumbled leather mid panels offset the smooth supple leathers at the toe, heel, and ankle flap overlays. The collar and toe box feature soft suedes, while sails round out the design at the sole units, tongues, liners, and laces. A first look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “To My First Coach” has landed. It arrives exactly as the first mock-ups predicted, though images of the pair below provided by @brandon1an do not so the pairs’ themed hangtags. A release date for the collection has not yet been set, but word on its release is expected soon so be sure to keep your eyes locked on HOUSE OF HEAT for further updates.

Euro retailers have listed a May 7th release for the Air Jordan 1 “To My First Coach” Collection. Retailers in the US are yet to confirm their plans for the pack.
