Since its inception in November 2019, the Air Jordan 1 Flyease and the mad scientists in the Nike design lab continue to think outside the box and turn classic sneakers into footwear that’s more accessible for consumers who may have physical limitations. This latest colorway in the expanding catalog and delivers a monochromatic palette combined with accessibility focused tech which results in a must-have cop.
Using the iconic lines of the AJ1 with the aforementioned new tech one can easily see what a great concept this is. The upper is comprised of soft buttery premium leathers, all of which has been saturated in grey, a darker variation can be seen on the heel, swoosh, and ankle strap. At the foundation of the shoe and anchoring down the design is a classic white midsole and grey rubber outsole. The ingenious innovations include a velcro lace system, an ankle strap for added support, and the unmissable zipper system that travels from the laces to the heel to allow an unprecedented opening to the shoe for easy access. Completing the design is the contrasting white AJ wings logo in its typical composition.
