Air Jordan 1 High “Bordeaux” Expecting November Release

Air Jordan 1 High “Bordeaux” Expecting November Release

Fresh off the heels of Jordan Brand’s official unveiling of its standout releases for Spring 2021, our focus now shifts to its opposing season with another new announcement for next year. Yet again we return to 1985’s game-changing silhouette — a sneaker that was in abundance in yesterday’s reveal — with word of an Air Jordan 1 High “Bordeaux” on the way this November.

Sneaker-insider @SHOF has dropped the Bordeaux bomb, supplying information on the pair’s release, as well as a listed colorway that should get a ton of people excited. The source suggests that the pair will arrive in white, the titular maroon, and metallic silver, with fellow sneaker-leaker @zSneakerheadz, now updating us on just how they’ll be blocked. He suggests that the pair will arrive in almost identical fashion to last year’s Air Jordan 1 High OG “Midnight Navy” (Japan). Instead of the titular blue overlays, this pair will feature a wine finish. Underlays of white leather will remain, and Swooshes of metallic silver will sit at the midfoot. Unlike our mock-ups below, it will arrive with a traditional stitched-on tongue tag and not embroidered directly onto the tongue. Details on the Wings logo and if the tongue will be leather or nylon remain a mystery, but the visualized mock-ups below should give you a pretty solid idea of what to expect later this year.

With pairs set to arrive on November 20th, you can expect to see the first looks filter through soon. Until then, grab a quick look at the mock-ups below, and make sure you’re following us on Twitter for developments.

This pair is just one of an extensive lineup of Air Jordan releases previewed for the year ahead, all of which you can check out here on our comprehensive list of Air Jordan Release Dates for 2021.
