When it comes to PEs and exclusives, we’ve seen some out-there options of the Air Jordan 1. From exotic materials to the full spectrum of the color wheel, it seems as if no stone has been left unturned. Then came this Air Jordan 1 High OG “Iridescent” family and friends exclusive.
Today, English Solehas given us an up-close look at this extremely rare pair of Air.
The entire upper boasts a color-changing finish applied to its tumbled leather, whilst the toe boxes and Swooshes get a sleek black suede treatment. With hand-painted midsoles continue the chameleon look as the colors vary as you rotate them in the light. All of this rests atop a soli black rubber outsole, with black-on-black tongue branding and debossed Wings motifs at the ankle rounding out the special-edition design.
Pairs were only given to Jordan Brand athletes — and less than 80 pairs were produced — so we’re not holding our breath for a release any time soon.
