The Air Jordan 1 Low Joins the "'85 Fall League" Collection
Jordan Brand is in the midst of its 40th anniversary. To celebrate the occasion, the eponymous imprint has prepped a number of special releases, activations, and initiatives. A collection inspired by the fictional "Air Jordan '85 Fall League" is just one example of these celebratory efforts.
Having already been seen on an Air Jordan 1 Mid, the theme has recently landed on the 40-year-old silhouette's shortest presentation. Akin to its taller counterpart, the commemorative Air Jordan 1 Low features a faint neon green, white, and black color scheme across its top-half. Leather construction, however, forgoes a split presentation. Instead, insoles between right and left shoes take on differing tones. A faux-aged midsole and varsity jacket-reminiscent patched, however, reprise their roles on the low-profile retro.
