Though most of Nike, Inc’s Crater releases have come and gone, there seems to be a few stragglers surfacing of late. One of those is this Air Jordan 1 Low Crater, revealed alongside a matching Mid earlier today. Like that pair, this release not only boasts the titular recycled soles but also has a heavy focus on overarching sustainability.
The mostly monochrome makeup is anchored in a recycled grey twill — one marled with subtle flecks of color throughout. Overlays of light grey suede arrive in a blocking akin to the recent Shadow 2.0 High, save the Swooshes that show up in a grind rubber finish. The latter is tacked on roughly at the heel in true DIY style, matching the rich royal blue hues found on the pair’s hidden insoles. Recycled materials fill the mid and outsoles, as does the rear Wings patch which gives the release a fairly distinct finish.
A release date for the Air Jordan 1 Low Crater did not accompany the official image set below, but you should expect to see these land at select Swoosh stockists and likely on Nike.comsoon.
