Lakers Colors Take Over This Air Jordan 1 Low

Jordan Brand's popular Air Jordan 1 Low might've celebrated a milestone anniversary last year, but it isn't going away anytime soon.

Recently, Peter Moore's iconic design emerged in a "Court Purple/White/Black/University Gold" color scheme. The retro features glossy patent leather panels across the upper, differentiating it from the pack. The purple-and-gold-heavy execution evokes images of the Los Angeles Lakers' colors, which have also landed on a special Air Jordan 4 expected to drop by NBA All-Star Weekend. The shorter silhouette, then, could also have been developed to commemorate one of basketball's most important franchises of all-time.
