In the early 2020s, Jordan Brand embarked on a distinctive program, crafting exclusive Air Jordan 1 High sneakers adorned with exotic safari and crocodile skin for their partner colleges. Fast forward three years, and the brand is swiftly launching Low editions of the same design for their sponsored schools, ranging from Howard to UCLA to UNC. The latest addition to this lineup is the Air Jordan 1 Low OG PE, tailor-made for the Georgetown Hoyas.
Unveiled today by English Sole, these sneakers set themselves apart from other collegiate merely by color and college insignia. With smooth sail later upper and cracked leather overlays, they are accompanied by safari-inspired Swooshes in the signature Hoyas navy blue. The sneakers’ premium features include quilted satin liners and insoles emblazoned with the Georgetown University logo graphic. Rounding out the design are forefoot mini swooshes and a straightforward sail sole unit complemented by a light gum rubber outsole.
