In the early 2020s, Jordan Brand launched a distinctive program, creating exclusive Air Jordan 1 High sneakers for their partner colleges, adorned with exotic safari and crocodile skin in the classic Michigan grey colorway. Fast forward three years, and the brand is now swiftly releasing Low editions of the same design for their sponsored schools, ranging from Howard to UCLA to UNC. The latest addition to this lineup is the Air Jordan 1 Low OG PE, customized for the Michigan Wolverines.
Unveiled today by English Sole, these sneakers distinguish themselves from other college pairs with their unique colorway and Michigan insignia. Featuring a smooth off-white leather upper and cracked Maize leather overlays, they are accompanied by safari-inspired Swooshes in the iconic Michigan navy blue. The sneakers boast premium features such as quilted satin liners and insoles adorned with the University of Michigan logo graphic. Completing the design are forefoot mini swooshes and a clean sail sole unit contrasted by a light gum rubber outsole.
