The Jumpman logo, introduced in 1985 and immortalized on the Air Jordan 3 by Tinker Hatfield in 1988, remains an unmatched icon in the realm of athletic branding. This emblem, capturing Michael Jordan in mid-flight, has set a standard that continues to inspire and resonate across generations. Paying tribute to the legendary photoshoot that gave life to this emblem, Jordan Brand is set to release a special women's Air Jordan 1 Low, dubbed the "Polaroid," slated for October 24th.

This release takes a creative twist on the traditional "Bred" colorway, offering an inverted palette that hints at the Negative Polaroid technique used during the original Jumpman photoshoot. The sneaker features striking cyan patent leather accents on the toe box, Swoosh, and heel, juxtaposed with clean white leather that dominates the upper. Underfoot, a stark black sole contrasts sharply with the upper's lighter tones, maintaining a balanced and eye-catching look.

Further connecting to its roots, the insoles of this AJ1 Low are adorned with Polaroid images of Michael Jordan's iconic dunk—one in its raw, undeveloped state and the other as the famous Jumpman silhouette. This thoughtful detail enhances the sneaker's aesthetic and deepens its historical significance.

Set to retail for $125, the Women's Air Jordan 1 Low "Polaroid" will be available through Nike.com and select Jordan Brand retailers on November 7th.
