A Seattle Seahawks-Friendly Makeover Appears on the Air Jordan 1 Low
Michael Jordan's debut signature sneaker is in the midst of its 40th anniversary. To celebrate the occasion, Nike, Inc. has launched Peter Moore's original design in handfuls of different styles—from OG reissues to playful experiments for kids. Recently, the Air Jordan 1 Low emerged in a Seattle Seahawks-friendly color scheme.
While not an official project dedicated to the NFL franchise, the newly-surfaced retro falls in line with other Air Jordan and Nike Sportswear offerings clad in tones reminiscent of sports teams sponsored by the Swoosh conglomerate. A quick glance at the shoe also evokes images of Aleali May's collaboration from 2021. Nevertheless, the low-top AJ1 has no connection to any entity or partner, simply offering a fresh new style ahead of summer. Rich, "Pine Green"-like flair animates the toe and lower heel, while dark navy and white contrast fill in the gaps across the upper. Underfoot, the midsole takes on a faux aged finish that harkens back to the sneaker's debut in the mid-1980s.
Enjoy official photos of the multi-colored retro below. Pairs should hit Nike.com throughout summer for around $115.
