With Spring coming to a close and Summer mere moments away, the seasonal-staple Air Jordan 1 Low has picked up significant steam. Unlike last year which saw the silhouette surface in a slew of simple leather builds, 2021 has seen a slew of experimental options, with perforations, corduroy, and mismatched blocking benefitting the sneaker. But as we’ve limped closer to the middle of the year, we’ve seen a return to its traditional form with releases like this Air Jordan 1 Low in White, Tan, and Gum.
Coming back in a classic leather build, the pair flips traditional blocking, putting clean whites upon the overlays and tacking smooth tans onto the upper. Nylon tongues and laces follow the lead of the base layer, before white returns at the embroidered branding, midsoles, liners, and insoles. Rear Wings logos return in tan, and the pair is capped off with a classic gum rubber outsoles underfoot.
A release date for this Summer-ready Air Jordan 1 Low did not accompany the official image set below, but you should expect to see these land at select Swoosh stockists and likely on Nike.comsoon.
