Teal Tones Take Over the Women's Air Jordan 1 Mid
The Air Jordan 1 Mid might've enjoyed higher heights (no pun intended) a few years ago, but the silhouette continues to form an important part of Nike, Inc.'s bottom line. Ahead of summer, the sneaker has appeared in a plethora of colorways, including a new teal-and-white makeover.
An official color palette name hasn't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but the two-tone update indulges in one of the original Air Jordan's most iconic presentations. Akin to the Air Jordan 1 '85 "Chicago" sample that set the internet ablaze earlier this year, the Mid's titular green tone animates leather panels around the forefoot, along the tongue, and across the heel. A "colorless" finish fills in the gaps, creating a familiar, but refreshing look atop the popular design.
Underfoot, the color story stays the same. The white-colored midsole and teal-accented outsole evoke images of many Nike Dunks from over the years.
