Just Dropped // Air Jordan 1 Mid “Crater”
Though most of Nike, Inc’s Crater releases have come and gone, there seems to be a few stragglers surfacing of late. One of those is this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Crater” revealed alongside a matching Low earlier today. Like that pair, this release not only boasts the titular recycled soles but also has a heavy focus on overarching sustainability.
Immediately evoking memories of the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom Crater from Fall 2020, this mid-cut boasts a like recycled twill construction in dark charcoal, with ankle flaps and eye, stays again looking to a faux suedes finishes. Here, though, that recycled textile takes over the toe, too. There’s also uniqueness found in the liners, Wings badge, and grind rubber-loaded Swooshes. Tack-on stitching arrives here in royal — not red — and sole units arrive in line with the aforementioned High Zoom, albeit whiter in appearance.
