The Air Jordan 1 Mid Appears in A "Rare Air"-Reminiscent Look
Jordan Brand is never one to be shy of referencing its own work. The last few Air Jordan basketball shoes have paid homage to some of His Airness' oldest signature silhouettes, blending heritage with modern performance. For its latest Air Jordan 1 Mid, the eponymous imprint has seemingly borrowed one of its "Rare Air" color schemes expected on some of the year's most-coveted styles.
An official color description hasn't been acquired by Elden Monitors, but the newly-surfaced pair seems to indulge in a similar "Deep Royal Blue/Fire Red" duo found on the "Rare Air" Jordan 11 expected to launch in October. The mid-top take on Michael Jordan's first signature model, however, also features hits of white and grey across leather panels along the tongue, across the profiles, and around the collar. Underfoot, the tried-and-proven midsole opts for a faux-aged look that works well with the patriotic color scheme up-top.
