With Spring now on the horizon, Jordan Brand is readying their essential lifestyle silhouettes with the season in mind — though none of them have been more literal than this, the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Flower Garden”
Influenced by the classic Robert Herrick poem, To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time (which most of you will know from Dead Poets Society), the pair is packed with floral embellishments that remind us to take advantage of life while we’re still young enough to enjoy it. It says as much on the special packaging, with the poem’s opening line, Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, resting above a botanical listing of all those flowers depicted on the release. Speaking of, they dress the collar, outsole, and hang tag in beautiful pastel hues. These are wedged in between premium leather uppers of cream, tumbled leather overlays of pale blush, and lavender rear overlays, laces, and liners. Tongue tags that read “Love” and Jumpman motifs, respectively, arrive in red, with muted pink Swooshes sitting at the midfoot to complete the design.
The release date for this new Air Jordan 1 Mid “Flower Garden” is not yet known, but you should expect to see these land at select Swoosh stockists and on Nike.comin the early months of 2023.
Update 11.29.22 An alternate colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Flower Garden” has surfaced via official Nike.com imagery. This pair arrive in much the same fashion, with like-for-like soles, floral collars, and premium tongue tags, though it gets bolder in color through simple whites, black, and more saturated purple hues. A matching Jordan Legacy 312 has also recently surfaced; A release date for the collection has not yet been set.As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
