Air Jordan 1 Mid “Light Violet” Lands May 11th

Over the past few days, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has previewed a strong showing of upcoming colorways _ many of which have ditched the classic leather construction in favor of some fresh fabrication. From ballistic mesh makeups to a duo of mix-and-match materials for men — and even one geared-up in metallic gold — the silhouette has been busy experimenting with its construction. So it’s refreshing to see this next release every back to basics, with a straight-up leather build in a bright white and pastel violet complexion.

A relatively simple pair, the all-white leather upper extends from the toe to the mid panel and to the collar, with soft pink overlays throughout. Sitting prominently at the midfoot is a stark black Swoosh that provides the pair with its most striking feature. Elsewhere you’ll find a white nylon tongue popped with black branding, white Wings motifs at the ankle, and a white and pink rubber outsole.
