We’re in the midst of a Mid-Cut Jordan 1 revolution. We’ve had banger after banger touch down in 2019 — many of which even got the most skeptical sold. And with word of a FACETASM x Air Jordan 1 Mid on the way, it feels like 2018 all over again. Now, another wild rendition of the oft-ridiculed Mid — said to be a FACETASM sample pair — has surfaced.
Diverse in both color and material, the pair brings together suede, corduroy, and chenille across its gaudy upper. The former makes up the majority of the shoe, arriving in golden yellow at the toe box capped with a vivid blue — which also appears on the throat — bright green eyelets and Chicago-red on the heel, collar and forefoot overlay. Midpanels arrive in an off-white corduroy, while stark black chenille Swooshes add contrast. Standard nylon tongues take center stage in black, and the pair rests atop a white/black sole unit combo. Multi-colored Jumpman branding sits at the tongues, while special detail adorns the heels. Finishing off the design are colorful bauble insoles scorned with the No Fear motif that’s seen on both the upcoming Fearless Pack and previously-previewed FACETASM Air Jordan 1 Mid.
