'Oil Green' Patent Leather Covers the Women's Air Jordan 1 Mid

The Air Jordan 1 Mid is the gift that keeps on giving. Ahead of spring, the lifestyle-focused take on Michael Jordan's original signature model has appeared in a slew of new colorways.

In addition to landing in 'Dark Pony' and 'Photon Dust,' Peter Moore's modified creation from 1985 has recently appeared in an understated 'Sea Glass/Metallic Silver/White/Oil Green' medley. Color-blocking on the pair – exclusively offered in Women's sizing – follows the traditional scheme found on the iconic 'Chicago' style. Patent leather around the forefoot, along the tongue, and across the heel, however, breathes new life into the 40-year-old design, injecting a fashion-forward attitude into the old school basketball shoe.

A shimmering finish takes over the Wings insignia on the lateral ankle, while the Nike Dunk Low-like outsole opts for a semi-translucent 'Oil Green' finish. Together, each aforementioned component expands Jordan Brand's reach outside of the hardwood and decades after #23 retired.
