Jordan Brand's 40th anniversary celebration is set to include a number of exciting activations across the globe, as well as dozens of styles of its original signature model. As has been the case for well over a decade, the Air Jordan 1 Mid continues to contribute to #23's legacy despite never having been laced up on the NBA hardwood.

A budget-friendlier, lifestyle take on Peter Moore's design from 1985, the Jordan 1 Mid has helped the sneaker become ubiquitous. Chicago Bulls colors dominated the silhouette's original run, but the mid-cut option expanded the shoe's roster of colorways. Inline and collaborative releases introduced fashion-forward materials and seasonal looks to Moore's creation. In recent memory, the retro has become particularly popular amongst women and kids. Therefore, many makeovers have catered to these audiences.

Ahead of Summer 2025, the mid-top Air Jordan 1 has appeared in a medley of 'Purple' colors. Panels around the heel opt for a pinkish tint, while profile swooshes and layers along the tongue and forefoot deviate in a bluish tone. Together, the colors help expand Jordan Brand's seasonal offerings while also ensuring Mike's legacy is felt generations after his NBA retirement.

Enjoy official photos of the Women's Air Jordan ahead. A firm Nike.com release date hasn't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that's likely to change by May. The pair is set to retail for $125.
