Over the past few months, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has previewed a strong showing of upcoming, mix-n-match colorways. From this muted duo of corduroy and suede constructs, to this boldly-blocked patent and leather option for ladies, the silhouette has appeared in some interesting iterations. The next to surface fits that mold, in fact, it’s closely aligned to the latter, sporting a like-palatte of white, black, green red, and blue, though this includes a splash of toned-down burgundy and significantly more white. Here, each panel presents its own unique hue and textile, with white leather midpanels, red leather toes, and blue canvas collars joined by the aforementioned burgundy ankle flaps, and Lucky Green medial eyelets. A matching shade of green also hits the pair’s Wings motif, whilst branding on the white nylon tongue remains monochrome. Toe, forefoot eyelet, and heel overlays all arrive in stark black patent leathers to complete the pair’s overlays — as Swooshes are fully removed in favor of outlined zig-zag stitching. Completing the design is the addition of oversized heel pulls, red insoles, and a classic white and black sole unit.
