The Air Jordan 1 Low has shown a penchant for honoring its original ’85 forefathers, with countless Bulls-infused colorways coming to fruition over the years. In recent times, the silhouette has shown a strong allegiance to the OG “Shadow” scheme, with several “Light Smoke Grey” colorways hitting shelves over the past 24 month period. Now, after last month’s revelation of a Low comes an obligatory Mid, this one leaning a little closer to the OG’s arrangement.
Though hues of grey are significantly cooler than the original, its accompanying black leather construct, black nylon tongues, and bright white midsoles keep this pair in the same conversation. Essentially, this release flips the OG’s rear blocking, with collars, liners, and Wings logos flipped to grey, and ankle flap and heel overlay looking to black. the forward half of the shoe stays true to the original ’85 blocking, whilst it’s sole unit opts for grey traction in opposition to the original’s black.
